#I honestly did not have this on my 2024 bingo card

Ohhh bingo card - man, maybe next year!

My friend did this thing in 2023 - 23 things in 2023. And I did my own that year and it stuck for 2024 (24 things in 2024). So, I am doing it again this year (25 in 2025). All of them are long-term goals and I don’t have to meet any of them! I definitely don’t call them resolutions haha. In both 2023 and 2024, I updated my Instagram at the end of every month for accountability. How was I doing meeting the majority of my goals? I think my friends and family were interested - but as the end of 2024 came, I felt that I was setting myself up for hate. That whole “as the end of the year comes, a lot of people are gonna post about their accomplishments, and it’s okay if all you did was survive” which everyone kept posting - it made me feel like my accomplishments no longer mattered. It’s been a ridiculous two months 😫 I think it’s frustrating that I too felt I was only surviving - but also accomplished so much. So I don’t really know how to rationalize what I’ve been feeling. 🤷‍♀️

So I’ve honestly not posted my goals for 2025. I think I’ll just keep them to myself (on IG anyway, which went to FB).

But I’m willing to post them here.

Many goals are carry overs from 2024 (movies and recipes and restaurants and say I love you and watching tv shows and attending comic con (RCCC = Rose City Comic Con)), but new ones include setting boundaries, drinking water, exercise more, and my newest obsession with Critical Role (I will absolutely crush #25 🤣)

Anyway. 🎉🔥🔥 Here is to the new year!!!

2025 Goals

Eat as many different shaped pastas as I can. Doesn't necessarily have to be different types of dishes/sauces but different Shapes. To that end, I bought animal shaped pasta and I am very excited

Identify the local bird population by their song and be confident enough that I'm correct to say "that is a cardinal." I've made a list of the 25 most common birds in my area so that gives me about two weeks to spend on each bird.

Crochet one granny square per week (or the equivalent by the end of 2025). I know single stitch and half double crochet and I'd like to learn more stitches. One granny square isn't that much but it's a measurable goal

Cross the threshold of 1million words on AO3. I need less than 100k to do it.

Take one photo per week to document 2025

Eat 25 different types of soup in 2025.

Questioning if Noah still loved you after almost 3 years wasn't on your bingo card for 2024.

You knew he was busy for the most part of the year, so you always tried to work around his schedule and he always helped you out.

But in the past weeks you felt a shift in your relantionship.

You noticed he secluded himself in his studio for longer than normal.

Because of that he is more tired and when he gets home he doesn't give you the attention he usually did. Now he just showers and goes to bed.

You could probably count on one hand the words you exchanged with each other during the day.

And today wasn't any different. You get home tired from work, and decided to just take a bath and make something simple for you to eat.

You knew Noah wasn't going to be home before you hit the pillow anyway. You weren't going to wait up just to have yet another awkward conversation.

You went up to your bedroom, dropped your phone on the nighstand, grabbed your favorite candle and went to have your bath.

You didn't hear the front door opening and Noah ascending the stairs to your bedroom. He could smell your candle burning and decided to not disturb you, figuring you had a bad day at work.

While he was changing into some comfy clothes, he heard your phone ping a couple of times.

He knew he shouldn't do this, but he couldn't help but take a peek. He saw your best friend's name on the screen and a text that shattered his heart.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way, honey. Why don't you ask him if his feelings have changed in these years?

As he finished reading, another one came through.

I'm sure he has an explanation for having been treating you this way.

You think he doesn't love you anymore. And as he thinks to the past couple of weeks, he doesn't blame you.

He walks over to the closet and picks up the ring box he has hiding in there along with his work laptop.

As you finish your bath and get yourself dressed, you go downstairs to make yourself some dinner.

Great, now he is bringing work home too, you think.

Somehow you know he is singing this to you, and your confirmation comes when he stands up from the couch and kneels in the carpet right before you.

"I know I haven't been a good boyfriend latetly. Truth is, after buying this ring for you, my head went down a rabbit hole, with thoughts of losing you and not being a good enough partner that I turned into that without even realizing it. To say you were in shock was an understatement. You honestly thought he was breaking up with you when he said he needed to talk.

You found yourself nodding and saying yes over and over again. Kneeling with him and engulfing him in your arms.

"Whenever you feel that way, I need you to tell me, because we're gonna work through this together. You don't have to feel caged in inside your own mind, okay?"

After a few seconds, he pulled away and slipped the ring in your finger, and you stayed there, feeling the love you have for each other.

Okay so. I'm like, 99% done with V3 and I realized I've barely shared like any of my thoughts here so. SPOILERS AHEAD

-The fact that Ryoma wanted to die and was fighting to find something to live for only to find out that he had NOTHING...that shit was sad bro

-Was NOT expecting Kirumi at all but in retrospect it's the least suspicious ones that you should be the most suspicious of. Also her execution was p brutal

-ANGIE WITH THE CULT...the fact that she managed to brainwash half the group had me terrified. Also her Atua worshipping got real old real fast. I hate religious cults lmao I was literally sitting there like "I REALLY hope she's the one to die this chapter" bc if I had to read one more sentence of her being like "Atua will save us all <3" I WOULD have gone to play in traffic.

-Angie needed to go but TENKO 😭 She was just a hopeless lesbian in love with Himiko she did not deserve what happened to her

-Speaking of Himiko I was kinda meh about her at first but after the chapter 3 trial her character developed so wonderfully...it was so nice to see her grow and change and learn to express herself 🥺

-TRAINING TRIO MY BELOVED FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER I would kill for them genuinely.

-My hatred for Kokichi only grew as time went on but after forcing Gonta to kill. MAN. That trial was so heartbreaking Gonta was just trying his best to protect everyone :"( Kokichi's such a little shit

-Kaito brushing off his illness as just him being afraid of ghosts AGGHHHH I knew there was something wrong from the start but seeing it progress and get worse was just 😭 I was literally sitting there like. I'm in the first stages of drafting my bingo card and I'm having a hard time lol I don't really have any solid predictions yet. they're keeping the wraps tight again this year and besides some small hints, we don't have much.

@ anon1 I did see the article you mentioned, however a) I'm not sure if the outlet is credible, especially the part about "gmmtv revealed that.." seems sketchy like no, they surely did not reveal their lineup to a Chinese magazine lol and b) they might be talking about the 9 bls and 2 gls that they have left to air from the 2024 lineup (or were at the time the article was released). so I call sus. But if it is true, 9 BLs + 2 GLs = 11 shows total for the 2025 lineup would be a reasonable number imo but ig that's minus the het shows lol.❗️**EDIT: there was another article released by Bangkok Post, clarifying that the previous article was in fact referencing the 2024 lineup and not the upcoming one for 2025!

Back to anon2's question: I saw Aof expressing that he wants to work with GeminiFourth again which a lot of people took as a confirmation for another collab, even though it's not lol. Aside from that, GreatInn and SeaKeen are newly fixed so surely they will get something new. And GreatInn already confirmed another project I believe. Other than that I can see AouBoom getting a bigger gig and then there's a general rumor about Papang and Podd getting paired, which I'm not sure I'm willing to believe yet. it would be very welcome though lol.

As far as GLs go, since MilkLove are also fixed, I doubt they will leave them with one show so they're going on my card as well. I saw someone on Twitter speculate about an ensemble GL like We Are or PTL and honestly I can totally see that! And I would be down as well lol.

As for the other BL/GL couples and also lakorns, I have no idea. Will New hit us with another 40-episode BL? will they give us unexpected GL pairs? will snap25 give us another murder mystery clusterfuck? will OffGun get their 8th BL? much to think about lol.

I definitely think they have gl series planned for the near future but idk if they would announce them now given 23.5 hasn't even aired yet. The whole split announcement thing seems to be to gauge audience reception, so possibly gl in part 2 to ride off of 23.5? its in my bingo anyway

Winnysatang series is essentially confirmed and i don't think it's a high school series purely based on how much satang's been going to the gym lately lmao i mean it might just be his choice, but i choose to take anything and everything as hints 😌

I think most of us have seen the fk + p'new rumours which.. yeah 😬 (still not over what they did to between us &lt;//3)

i want a fluke pusit + thor comeback because they were insane in the warp effect, but lbr that's not happening lol. But I've been seeing the Thor + fluke nattanon (from project alpha) stuff lately soooo 👀? i'm honestly kinda hyped for that too

saw whispers of jossgawin and i'm so on board actually (didn't think and still don't rlly think joss would do a bl so they might just be in the same project, but still, the rumours are rumouring)

i know jojo doesn't have any projects in part 1 and a couple of the actors i mentioned aren't even in the lineup, but i can't be bothered figuring it out so i guess some of this will just extend to part 2 :)

i really wanna see neomark again as leads, but i don't actually think we're gonna get mark in a bl (or at least as a cp) in part 1. Markford was obviously very successful because of msp, but i think neomark has more longevity (although idk if mark would be put in a set cp like that). Definitely think gmm wants to gauge the response to neomark more as only friends finishes up.

loved joong in the warp effect and i think he should just kiss everyone (hence joong harem) (joong dating show perhaps) i never rlly got into any of joongdunk's shows although i do love them as a pair outside of the series, so i kinda wanna see both of them act with different people (gmm give me ponddunk pls)

Reactions/Thoughts about Today's Pokemon Direct (Feb 2024)

First off: I was predicting a Johto remake over a Unova remake. Because LGPE counts as part of the remake cycle.

I also pre-made a bingo card, so I was paying attention for these things:

SV event is Tera Raids, no Mythical. Might still be coming?

Pokemon GO is a tie-in to Horizons with a couple of new species. Neat. No Gigantamax (honestly with how Raids are what Dynamax is based on, I'm not sure how that'll be introduced).

Legendary in Sleep!!!! (I actually play this game, so I'm excited.) I was tempted to put Mew or something as my Sleep prediction, but I thought that was too far-fetched this early and a Unova tie-in would be appropriate if there were Unova remakes. Wait... Johto beasts? Johto..?

Master's EX has Silver on spotlight! Check off the Johto character on spotlight in Master's EX slot! No Unova characters, it seems. We have Geeta, the Aether family, and Riley, which are from neither region. Two Johto things, though...

Cafe Remix has some Paldea Pokemon. I haven't played this game since it came out and every time I think about going back I remember I got stuck on a puzzle and I seemed to need to pay for a microtransaction to win so I just don't.

Unite I randomly guessed Terapagos and I was wrong. Lots of Ceruledge today.

This TCG thing appeals to me. Very much appeals to me. I played TCGO pretty much only logging in daily so I could open a pack every five days - the actual gameplay took way too long. Opening two packs every day with a shorter type of gameplay? Appeals very much. I am the target audience here.

It's a Legends title! And Z! In 2025!

I absolutely did not expect this. I expected something unexpected, which is why I put "No Legends Title" on my card, but I did not expect them to skip over Johto AND Unova to head straight to a Kalos revisit.

Z-A is the actual name. AZ's whole plot took place 3000 years ago, and this isn't 3000 years ago. By other people's saying when the Eiffel Tower went up, it's taking plaace more like 150 years ago, which is contemporary (within 30 or so years) of Legends: Arceus's real-world equivalent.

But Z-A might mean we go back in time further? Maybe? That'd be interesting. But as always, I can't get my hopes up too much.

The A definitely looks stylized like it's an actual Pokemon like Z is Zygarde, but it's not one we know. Mysterious.

2025 is a good sign. Though Legends: Arceus came out in January of the target year and it still seemed it could have used some polish. Not as bad as Scarlet/Violet, but it certainly looked worse than Sword/Shield and Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. So I hope they release it when it's actually polished, not just functional. I hope to see trailers for it in next year's Pokemon Day Pokemon Presents, and its inclusion this year was only because there's no other real headline.

As for my Bingo card?

I'm SO GLAD I did that Junior Year countdown! It really like- it felt like it was coming quicker and quicker!!!

I do know that a lot of the times I was making the posts quite late which is why sometimes the countdown days didn't like up! But ANYWHO!

I'm looking for a NEW AND IMPROVED GILEAR! OK! HE CAN GROW AND CHANGE! I BELIEVE IT CAN HAPPEN! GILEAR GLOW-UP 2024! IT'LL TREND! I BELIEVE IT! 😭✋ I HAVE FAETH(FAITH)! SEE WHAT I DID THERE! 😉

4. Aelwyn doing Anything! I saw this on multiple bingo cards! Aelwyn doing something helpful! I honestly can't wait to see Aelwyn just do anything. Whether she is hanging out with Adaine and also trying to break out of old habits of being mean to her sister! (Old habits die hard!) I'm excited for anything! Idk how they'd tie into the story! But it definitely seems interesting! Especially since her parents were kinda loosELY related to the Harvestmen??? The cult or whatever? Idk...seems kinda SUS! 🥲 Also, Kristen DID leave GOLD COINS FOR her Brothers before she went on the trip to the Nightmare King's Forest with the rest of the bad kids! So...who knows! 🤷‍♀️

9. Sandra Lynn. Garthy. Jawbone. Poly relationship? YES! I'M SO DOWN! But also idk if Sandra Lynn would want to get with Garthy again. I'm up for it if it happens! I love all 3 of them! 🙌

december word count roundup!

it's a very special word count roundup, because it's the last one of 2024! this is the year that i got back into writing, so thank you to steddie, stobin, and the stwg discord for inspiring me to start writing more.

to start us off, our usual december stats:

total monthly word count: 12,540 (the most of any month since i started tracking!)

days written: 13/31 (most days per month since i started tracking!)

average words per day: 404.5 (the highest of any month since i started tracking!)

fics posted: 5 (2 daily prompts, 1 late kinktober fill sort of, 1 exchange fic/steddie bingo fill, 1 steddie bingo fill)

you may be sensing a pattern. and also some data being skewed sldfkjs. crazy fun fact: i wrote more words on december 30th (mostly in one sitting btw) than i did for the entire month of november. wild. honestly this has been one of the best months for my productivity yet! i'm having a great time with it honestly

things i said i would do this month:

finish chapter 5 of vampire chrissy au - ✅ DONE!!!! i've only written one paragraph of chapter 6 so far but it's fine. it may be slow but we're movin

write more daily prompts - ✅ i did two at the beginning of the month!

finish at least one wip - ✅ i finished the stobin puppy play wip as well as started and completed my two steddie bingo fills!

start making some progress on my steddie bingo card - ✅ i've filled four out of ten prompts from my steddie bingo countdown to midnight card! haven't done any for my main bingo card but we'll get to that once the holidays are over lol

things i want to do in january:

finish my steddie bingo countdown to midnight card (and by finish i mean complete at least six prompts)

start on my actual main steddie bingo

make some progress on chapter 6 of vampire chrissy au

Did you keep any New Year’s Resolutions? yes! I made three bingos from my bingo card go me good job.

I did not have Sum 41 colliding with Electric Callboy on my 2024 bingo card.

So Sum 41 was supposed to be at a festival in Australia rn but Deryck caught pneumonia and they had to cancel their dates, EC was offered their time slot but their drummer David got sick too and had to fly back home to Germany.

Sum 41's drummer ended up stepping in and is now filling in for all their remaining festival dates in Australia.

Honestly I love that for them.
